I spent a lot of my spring break in the yard. My boyfriends and I decided to drop the boats I made on paper. Our house is on a hill, the yard has a sloping slope, so streams go down quickly. Here, we lowered our ships to the water and began to track whose sail was faster. It was still interesting to put different partitions across the stream and watch the water break through them in a short while, and again the stream ran in the usual direction. In the evenings the water in the puddles froze, and we skated, and in the afternoon our little skating rink again turned into a big puddle.
We also liked to walk around the yard and say the spring changes. At first, they were quite noticeable: Italian snowflakes, icicles that could build houses and turn them into streams, a long global day, a bright dream. But the buds on the trees became much larger than the swollen ones. The willow looks especially beautiful, its buds were white-yellow and those, not for nothing, they are compared to fluffy seals.
We noticed that the rooks had already arrived. They flew in flocks and looked respectfully around the yard in search of food. We tried to throw them slices of bread, but they were scared and flew away. The tones were heard louder, especially in the morning, and their gentle, clinking squeak was heard through the open window. Sparrows began to tweet much more fun. And it was a great joy for us as we found a small yellow mother-and-stepmother flower on a roof under the bushes of a black-headed rowan.
So, unnoticed, my spring break has passed. rested well, and with spring mood began training.
