I guess that in the nearest future we will be able to invent shirts or sweaters that will serve us as electric body-heaters.
These shirts or other items of clothing will be made not only from silk, cotton, or woll but they will also contain tiny, long, electric wires penetrating a whole thing thoroughly.
Apart from that, a small battery will be added to such a shirt powering the wires with energy needed to produce heat. The electric current flowing through the wires will start heating them and as a result the wires will start emitting heat towards a human body.
I think that we can also weave the wires into shoe soles to achieve the similar effect to keep our feet warm on a rainy and chilly day. It can be much more difficult to do because of the fact that shoes are made of tough materials as skin and rubber but I guess that we could change the wires for electric plates.
These inventions will definitely help us feel comfortable outside in autumn or winter and they can also help us to cut our expenses on heating of our houses !
