Westminster is the aristocratic district of the capital. People like to visit it because of it historical places. There are the Houses of Parliament in the Palace of Westminster. Big Ben is the famed clock. It is situated here too. Westminster Abbey is a wonderful church. It’s almost 1000 years old. Practically all the rulers of Great Britain were crowned and buried here. There are the graves of well-known people, such as Darwin, Kipling and Newton. There are memorials to Shakespeare, Burns, Byron, and Longfellow in the Poet’s corner. Also you can find Buckingham Palace in Westminster, which is the residence of the Queen.
I opened the front door and looked out. "Why ,here you are, Ricky!"- I said."What are you doing here all alone? Come in and sit down near the Christmas tree" . Ricky looked up at me and down."I don't have one," said Ricky, "I have puppy". "Puppy!". I went out and looked at the dog in surprise . "Maybe he'll go too?"-asked me Ricky. "Why not?" I said,"You're a good little dog.Where did it come from? Yes,take it". "Come puppy"cried Ricky. Many boys were playing around the tree. They rushed to Petey. They were so happy to see him. The dog wagged his tail. She licked each of the boys. "Can we keep him?"-asked me. "We'll give him some dinner and a nice warm bed,"I said. "Tomorrow we'll find his mother and see if she will let him stay or not."
