Red Square is 695 metres long and 130 metres wide. It is one of the largest and most beautiful squares in Moscow. People used to call it Torg, Pozhar, or Troitskaya Square. But in the 17th century the square got its modern name of Krasnaya, which means 'beautiful'. Tourists from Russia and from abroad come to Red Square to see famous buildings and monuments: St Basil's Cathedral, the History Museum, and Spasskaya Tower with the large Kremlin Clock. New Year's Eve and the Victory Day celebrations take place in Red Square.
There is no doubt that the invention of the car changed the world. The invention of the car offers a possible solution to the problem with transport. Also I can say that it changed the world positively but negatively, too.The positive of the invention is that modern traffic is faster than traffic in the past. The traveling rised when the car was invented. Many products in shops that we like to buy we can get only thanks to cars, because cars make transport better. People like using their cars because they are comfortable and they can move us in a short time. The negative side of this invention is pollution. Many people suffer from different illnesses caused by pollution and from stress made by noise from cars. So, the invention of the car had really changed the world in both ways, positive and negative. It gave us a chance to travel with comfort but it also brought stress and illnesses in our life.
