My Favourite Pastime
If you ask me what my favourite pastime is, I’ll answer that I have more than one. First I’m fond of cooking and my family say that my cakes and pies are really tasty and I always prepare birthday cakes for my parents, brothers and my little sister Mary. Then I love to make clothes. My friends tell me that my clothes are always fashionable and nice. Some of them think that I buy them in Harrods which is not true. I never buy trousers, shirts or skirts in shops for rich people. I make all my dresses myself. Mary also likes things that I make for her. They are bright and never boring. But most of all I like travelling. When you go abroad or just travel about England, you discover so many unusual things, learn so many interesting facts and meet different people. This summer I’m going to visit Russia. My pen friend Lena invites me to come to stay with her family in the city of Vladimir. Isn’t it wonderful?
