My Flat / Моя квартира I live in a 5-stored block of flats in Yushno – Sakhalinsk. It’s not a very picturesque plaice but we have a yard and a Kodak Express under the window.
My flat is on the third floor. It’s very comfortable and well planed. I have all modern conveniences, such as central heating, electricity, cold and hot running water and a telephone. There are three rooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and a balcony in it. The largest room in my flat is the living room. My family uses it as a sitting room. There is a sofa, two armchairs, a coffee table, a TV set and a VCR (video) in it.
We have two small rooms in our flat and one of them is my. It is not big but very cosy. There is a wardrobe near the wall and a desk near the window. My bad is at the left corner. I like my room wary much because it is my room.
Our kitchen is not very large but light. It’s very well equipped. We have got a refrigerator, a microwave oven, a coffee maker and a toaster. In evenings we like have tea and have rest in it.
My favourite holiday is new year. I like it because all my family comes to us and we have a lot of delicious dishes and drinks, my relatives and me talk about interesting things, happened this year. My grandad and my uncle are funny. They always talk jokes and we all laugh. And we also have a lot of nice presents. Before the holiday i help my mum with cooking. I like to decorate the cake. We always decorate the rooms and our big fir-tree. My little brother put a star on the top. I love New year very much!
мой любимый праздник это новый год.я люблю его потому что вся моя семья приходит к нам и мы едим много вкусных блюд и напитков, мои родственники и я говорим об интересных вещах, случившихся в этом году. мой дед и дядя веселые. они всегда рассказывают шутки и все мы смеемся. и еще мы получаем много хороших подарков. перед праздником я моей маме с готовкой. мне нравится украшать торт. мы всегда украшаем комнаты и нашу большую елку. мой братишка ставит звезду на верхушку. я очень люблю новый год!
