In Russia we have school holidays in spring, summer, autumn and winter. Our summer holidays are the longest. They usually start in June and finish in August. The school begins in September. Russian schoolchildren say that they really like their summer holidays. Many children spend their holidays in the country. Some boys and girls travel in Russia and abroad with their parents. Russia is a very large country, more than many countries are trying in the world. There are many interesting places in it.

This summer started very well. During the whole June I went only three times to the sea, because the water was too cold. I went roller-skating, walked with my classmates. July was my most unlucky month this summer. One day, I went out for a walk and went roller-skating. But that time I met with a slight mishap, because I rolled off the mountain and fell on the turn. Because of that, I broke my arm and hurt my cheek. July was is not the most pleasant month. I don't skate anymore ... In August, I was taken off the plaster. This month was full of joy and happiness. My aunt and uncle came to my place that month and we went to the sea many times. But, in the end, I got very sick and had to stay at home until the first of September . This summer wasn't the best in my life.
