About the city of Korolev!
The city of Korolev (until 1996 - Kaliningrad) is one of the largest research and production centers in the Moscow region.
Kaliningrad was formed in 1938 based on the village. Kalininsky. In 1960, the city of Kostino was included in its structure, in 1963 — the workers' settlements of Pervomaisky and Tekstilshchiki and the dacha village of Bolshevo. The merger of these settlements into a single urban organism is still taking place.
The oldest part of the city is Bolshevo. (In documents of the XVI-XVIII centuries it was written Bolshevo or Bolshovo. We give the modern spelling of Bolshev, with the exception of extracts from documents.) In the XII century. along the Klyazma in the Bolshev area, there was a settlement of the Slavic tribe Vyatichi. Across. Bolshevo was the ancient trade route from the Moscow principality to Vladimir-Suzdal. It started from the mouth of the Yauza. This place was called the Refuge. The goods were loaded onto single-wood boats (hollowed out of solid wood) or printed (single-wood boats, with boards stuffed on board). We sailed along the Yauza to Mytishchi. From where a small river flows into the Yauza. Work, the eight-kilometer portage to the Klyazma began. The ships were launched near the settlement of Gorodishche. Being a kind of control point, the Bolshevskoe settlement was practically uninhabited.
