Можно закрывать плотным листом бумаги или тетрадкой столбик с английскими словами и пытаться написать их по памяти. Можно записывать их на клейкие бумажечки и расклеивать по комнате. Можно делать так называемые карточки (flash cards), на одной стороне который - английское слово, на другой - русский перевод. Вообще мне кажется, это все очень индивидуально, можно придумать даже свой оригинальный подход, например, записывать слова разными цветами, так в голове может всплыть цветовой образ слова.
