One of my favorite characters is Patrick Jane from "The Mentalist" - American TV series consisting of 8 seasons. According to the title, he can do mind tricks and manipulate people from time to time. The plot is that Patrick is trying to find a murderer of his wife and daughter. He comes to CBI and desires to help them to get Red John. So, he starts working there with 3 collegues. He's really attemping to overcome his devastating tragedy and, due to the actor's play, the audience sympathizes him a lot. I like his sense of humor, his brilliant tricks which sometimes shock spectaculars and I like solving puzzles, so that's why I like the character and respect his aspiring to go through difficult periods of his life.
