Reading improves our outlook and helps us to think wider. Moreover reading of magazines let us get to know about new tendencies in modern life, social streams and so on. It is a common fact that the variety of magazines on today market is uncountable. Thus everyone is able to choose something interesting. For example, my classmates can’t wait to buy a fresh number of “Cosmopolitan”, “Viva” etc. They believe that articles in it may help in their life. So what can I say - “Tastes differ”.

As for me I’m keen of art in any kind. That’s why I’m trying to read as many interesting articles regarding contemporary art as possible. I think this helps in self-realization and gives better understanding of the world as it’s the common fact that art reflects all the tendencies which exist in society.

There is one magazine that’s quite helpful in this grasping process. It’s called “Sho”. It positions itself as underground art magazine. On its pages I always find something interesting to read about. For more convenience it is divided into sections devoted to modern theatre, news in the field of cinema and most remarkable movies, contemporary literature, and music. As usual I read overviews from different film festivals, for example, Cannes International Film Festival. I find out new interesting music groups and even music streams. On the pages concerning tourism I get to know about exciting sightseeings and possibilities to travel around the world.

“Sho” covers almost all my needs regarding art projects and events. I want to believe that it also helps me to find myself and create my own lifestyle.

The Duchess and the Pig
She walked through the wood and soon she came to another little house.
“I wonder who lives here,” Alice thought.
Someone in a sort of uniform ran out of the wood and knocked at the door. He looked like a fish and had a big letter in his hand.
A frog man opened the door. He had another sort of uniform. The fish-man gave* the frog-man the huge letter.
"This is for the Duchess,” he said. “It's an invitation from the Queen to play croquet.”
Then the fish-man walked away, and the frog-man sat on the front steps.
Alice went up to the door and knocked.
"Why are you knocking?” asked the frog-man. “I can't let you in, because I’m outside. Anyway, no- one can hear you knocking."
He was right. There was a terrible noise coming from inside the house. Alice heard screams, sneezes, and loud crashes.
"Well, how can I get in?" asked Alice.
“Why don’t you open the door?” asked the frog-man.
Alice opened the door and went into the house. She was in a large kitchen. In the middle of the kitchen was the Duchess, with a noisy baby. There was a cook near the fire with a huge pot of soup.
The air was full of pepper. Alice sneezed.
There was a large cat near the fire. It smiled at Alice.
"Why is your cat smiling?” Alice asked the Duchess.
The Duchess sneezed. "It’s a Cheshire Cat,” she said. Then she shouted "Pig!”
"Excuse me?” said Alice.
“I'm talking to the baby,” said the Duchess.
“Well, that’s not a nice thing to say!” said Alice.
"Mind your own business!" shouted the Duchess. "Cook! Cut off her head!”
Alice was scared, but the cook didn’t listen to the Duchess.
"Here! Take the baby!" said the Duchess, and she gave the baby to Alice. “I must get ready for croquet with the Queen!"
The Duchess went to get ready for croquet, and Alice took the baby outside.
"That’s not a good place for a baby to live," she said. She looked at the baby. It looked like a little pig. It made a noise like a pig, too.
"You ARE a pig!” said Alice to the baby. She put it on the ground and it walked away into the wood. "Where am I now?” thought Alice.

Она была в большой кухне. Посреди кухни стояла герцогиня, с шумным ребенком. Там был поваром у костра с огромной кастрюле супа.Воздух был полон перца. Алиса чихнула.Там был большой кот у огня. Она улыбнулась Алиса."Почему ваш кот улыбается?” Алиса спросила герцогиня.Герцогиня чихнул. "Это Чеширский Кот”, - сказала она. Потом она кричала "свинья!”"Простите?” - сказала Алиса.“Я говорю ребенку”, - сказала герцогиня.“Ну, это не хорошая вещь, чтобы сказать!” - сказала Алиса."Не лезь!" - крикнул герцогине. "Готовить! Отрубить ей голову!”Алиса испугалась, но повар не слушал герцогиню."Здесь! Возьми ребенка!", сказала герцогиня, и она дала ребенку Алисы. “Я должна подготовиться к крокет с королевой!"Герцогиня пошла собираться на крокет, и Алиса взяла малыша на улицу."Это не хорошее место для ребенка, чтобы жить", - сказала она. Она посмотрела на ребенка. Это выглядело как маленькая свинья. Он издал звук, как будто свинья."Ты свинья!” сказала Алиса для ребенка. Она положила его на землю и ушел в лес.
