I am a great theatre –goer. I love theatre very much. I try to see the most interesting performances that are on at our theatres. I usually go to the evening performance and I try to buy tickets in advanced. I like to have good seats in the stalls or in the dress-circle. From these seats one gets a good view of the stage. I am fond of ballet. My favorite ballet is “ The Swan Lake” . It has a long run and is always a great success with the public. Everything is magnificent there - the music and the dancing. The leading part dancers are brilliant beyond all doubts, and when the final curtains falls, they receive many curtains calls.

How are you getting on? I have not heard from you for ages. Where have you been? I am fine. You asked me about my summer holidays, so I’m glad to write about it.
This summer I rested in the village. I visited my grandmother and helped her about the house. I also watered the flowers. It was my duty. In our garden there are so many tasty berries: raspberry, strawberry and wild strawberry. I love berries. My grandmother and I together picked them and enjoyed ourselves.
In July I went to my grandfather, to Rybinsk. There we went to the forest to gather mushrooms. In the forest our parents found a lot of mushrooms. Once we went to the cinema to see a very interesting movie. We also went to the pool. There was a lot of fun! Sometimes we went to the river to swim. On the river we had rest with my relatives, barbecuing and swimming. It was really a great adventure!
Then we went St. Petersburg to visit my uncle and my aunt. We all together went to the zoo. There were a lot of different animals: camels, tigers, bears, a lama, wolves, flamingos and many others. Most of all I liked the peacock. He has a very beautiful and lush tail. I also liked the tiger. He jumped up and played with his toys.
There were so many interesting events last summer! I think I’ll remember them for a long time!

Как поживаешь? Я не получала от тебя вестей целую вечность. Где ты побывала? У меня все хорошо. Ты спрашивала меня о моих летних каникулах, и я рада написать тебе о них.
Этим летом я отдыхала в деревне. Я навещала свою бабушку и ей по дому. Я также поливала цветы. Это была моя обязанность. В нашем саду так много вкусных ягод: малина, клубника и земляника. Я люблю ягоды. Моя бабушка и я вместе их собирали и угощались.
В июле я ездила к своему дедушке в Рыбинск. Там мы ходили в лес собирать грибы. В лесу наши родители нашли много грибов. Однажды мы ходили в кинотеатр посмотреть интересный фильм. Мы также ездили в бассейн. Там было очень весело! Иногда мы ходили на речку купаться. Когда мы отдыхали с моими родственниками на речке, мы жарили шашлыки и купались. Это было чудесное приключение!
Затем мы ездили в Санкт-Петербург в гости к моим тёте и дяде. Мы все вместе ходили в зоопарк. Там было много различных животных: верблюдов, тигров, медведей, лам, волков, фламинго и много других. Больше всех мне понравился павлин. У него очень красивый и пышный хвост. Мне также понравился тигр. Он подпрыгивал вверх и играл игрушками.
летом было так много интересных событий! Думаю, что я запомню их надолго!

Я пошел в театр со своими одноклассниками. Но театр, как известно, начинается с вешалки. Мы долго выкладывали вещи в гардероб. Потом тихо вошли в зал, потому что представление уже началось. Это представление для нас незаметно. Нам очень понравилось.
