1) Dear Sam
Hi, how are you? It's awful here. I hope you're having a good holiday than we are. The weather's rainy . Every day has been cold and terrible , so we stay indoors all day. The food in the hotel is disgusting - I just can't eat it! Our room is at the back of the hotel and it's dark and small . There's no room for all our things. There's nothing to do. I've read three very boring books and watched some stupid quiz shows on TV. I'm miserable so . I can't wait to get home!

Hi, how are you?
It's great here. We're having a really better holiday. We've been very lucky with the weather - it's sunny . We go to the beach every day because it's hot and perfect . The food in the hotel is delicious . I've eaten a lot. Our room has three beds in it and looks out over the sea, it's so light and big . I've read three very books interesting about the history oh this area. In the evenings we've watched some funny films on TV - and laughed. I'm so happy here. I don't want to go home!
