Ten Konoevich Ahunbaey was born on 25
September, 1908 in Toru Aigyr village near
Issyk-Kul lake, In 1916, his family moved
to China where Isa Konoevich spent all bis
childhood. When he was 15, he returned
back to Kyrgyzstan and started going to the
villoge school. Every day, in any kind of
weather he had to walk 20 kilometres to
school and back home,
In 1926, Ten Kongevich went to Trung (now Bishkek) and then to
Toshkent to continue his education, In Tashkent, he became a suadent
of the Department of Medicine in the University
of Central Asia, When he was a student, he
tried not to waste even a minute of his time
and read a lot of books. Very soon he became
the best student in the university,
In 1935, he returned to Kyrgyzstan. In 1926,
Lea Koncevich started working as a resident
doctor in a hospital. In 1946, he defended his
thesis "Appendieitis in the Young Age" and
two years later he defended his first doctoral
