Our university Taras shevchenko State university of Pridnestrovie was founded in 1930 . it is the oldest higher educational institution in the region. At present the university has 2 institutes,8 faculties and 2 department . Here there are more than one thousand highly qualified teachers training over 12 thousand students in 90 directions and trands according to Russians standarts.The students of the University have good conditionsfor studies.they are trained by experienced pedagogues and instructors,among them there are many professors ,Doctors of Science,a lot of candidates of sciences and senior teachers.The labs are equipped with modern technologies, new devices and apparatus.Many students carry on research work and take an active part in the students scientific practical conferences which are held at the University every year.The academic year is divided into two terms wintr term and summer term . At the end of each term the students take their tests and examinations.Theres a department at the University where stydents can get a higher education widhout leaving their jobs.The study by correspondence combining work with studies .they are external students.The part-time studentsare given all the teaching material and different kinds of test-papers,consultation and instructions in all the subjects. The difference between them and full-time students is in the teaching procedure.Our Government pays a great deal of attention to the young people and their education.
