1. How do members of a family support each other?
There're different ways to support your relatives. When one of the members of your family is having a hard time, it's very important to help the person. The best way to do this is to try to understand the problem and to think of its solution. However, sometimes it's better to say something pleasant to the person to help with getting rid of negative emotions. Furthermore, family members should be supportive and motivate each other to take up new activities and make decisions.

I think that there're two levels of power in a family. The lower one is related to children because they have to be told what to do because of their immaturity. As for the adults, I think they should not be divided into rulers and people who have to obey. Wife is not less important than husband, and if they have different opinions, it'll be better to think of a compromise than to do what one says. Therefore, there isn't the most powerful person in a family, and both parents have an equal right to make a decision.
3. Who should take care of old people? Why do people need a family?
Many elderly people suffer from loneliness. The younger generation prefers spending time with other young people and having fun than helping their old parents or listening their monotonous stories about the past. Anyway, it's important not to forget about your old relatives, as they're a part of your family, and there're no other ways for them to get any help or attention. The main idea of a family is to help each other and to find support. That is why, everyone should be able to find some time to spend with their old relatives and to support them. Otherwise, family values will be lost, and people won't think of helping family members, as they will mostly be focused on their own well-being.
