1. There were  two men in the room. One of them was writing something while the other was reading a newspaper.

2. Не didn't tell me that he had received a message from her.

3. I asked him if he knew where she lived. I  said I didn't know her address.

4. He asked me if I could give him your address.

5. She said that he had given her the wrong address.

6. I  asked him where he had put my letter.

7. He told us that they had spent all the money.

8. I was sitting in an armchair and thinking of my coming trip across the North Sea when the door suddenly opened and an old friend of mine whom I had not seen for a very long time entered the room.

9. She came to see us just at the time when we were having dinner. It  was the first time I had seen her.

10. I saw him just as he was leaving the hotel.

11. I hadn't seen him before we met at the concert.

12. He had  left the house before I had time to ask him anything.

13. After spending several days in Paris he felt lonely and wanted to return home.

14. I thought he had already gone home.

1. - Why are you crying? - I'm not crying. I never cry.
2. It was raining the whole night, but it's not raining now. The sun is shining brightly outside, but a cold wind is blowing. 
3. Oliver used to ride a horse when he lived in the country. Now he lives in town, but he often recalls those days.
4.- What will you be doing tomorrow at 4 o'clock? - I don't know. I think I'll be swimming in the swimming-pool, or maybe I'll be playing basketball.
5.  - Mum is coming tomorrow. - I know. I was cleaning the flat the whole day yesterday.
6. - Where did you buy this CD? - I don't remember. But I hear they are sold everywhere. 
7. Nicola never eats meat. She's a vegetarian.
8. If you come on time we'll be having dinner and you'll be able to join us. 
9. Mary is 16 tomorrow. She is going to have a birthday party. Will you come?

1) I agree and disagree, because money is the root of some evil, shortage of money borns robberies. But most of wars not because of money.

2) l agree, because so you haven't money, you haven't food, house or apartment and clothes. And of course you want it, and if you don't want work you become a robber. (robber is bad)

3) I agree, our time is limited, but all our life we can make money much or little.

4) Yes, because sometimes you should buy something for more, you should impress people which you don't like, because they can give you more in the future.
