tony stark (iron man) appeared in 1963. in 1968, marvel filmed a separate story about him. there were only 332 issues in this series of iron man, who was born in the family of a wealthy industrialist, the owner of a huge corporation stark industries. at age of 15, this young genius entered the massachusetts institute, and at age of 19 he graduated it. after the death of his parents, when iron man was 21 years old, he became the head of the corporation with his assistant virginia potts (pepper). in 1990, the film company 20th century, universal studios, new line cinema has launched the film adaptation of this comic book.

February is the coldest winter month, but it is the most long-awaited romantic holiday for all enamored.
Officially the Valentine`s Day exists more than 16 centuries, but the holidays of love have been known since ancient pagan cultures. Nevertheless, the history of the Valentine`s Day and Valentine himself is covered with mystery. There are a lot of legends about the origin of this holiday and one of them refers to those times when Rome was pagan.
Christian priest Valentine has been put in prison. The prisoner s daughter Julia has fallen in love with him. She was blind. Valentine has vowed celibacy and could not share her feelings. Julia`s father asked Valentine to cure the girl s blindness and Valentine recommended to make special cream. But it did not help. Valentine was sentenced to death on February, 13th. On the eve of execution Valentine has sent Julia gentle farewell letter. In this letter he asked her to be loyal to the Christian faith and he also put a yellow crocus into the envelope. He has signed the message with the words "Your Valentine". Julia wanted to see the flower and to know what her friend has written. Her wish was so strong that it helped her to gain her sight. Later, she has planted an almond tree on Valentine`s tomb as a symbol of sincere and true love.
Nowadays in Valentine`s honor lovers give each other cards, chocolate, flowers, especially roses because they symbolize true love. Traditionally men propose to women. In Britain, men often choose Valentine`s Day in to make their marriage proposal. But on Valentine`s Day in a leap year women can propose marriage to their lovers!

Официально День влюбленных существует уже больше 16 веков, но праздники любви известны еще со времен древних языческих культур. Тем не менее, история дня Святого Валентина и самого Святого Валентина покрыта тайной. Ходит множество легенд о происхождении этого праздника и одна из этих легенд относится к тем временам, когда Рим был языческим.
Христианский проповедник Валентин был посажен в тюрьму. Дочь тюремного надзирателя Юлия влюбилась в него. Она была слепой. Валентин был священником, который дал обет безбрачия и не мог разделить ее чувства.
Отец Юлии попросил Валентина вылечить слепоту девушки и юноша посоветовал сделать специальный крем. Но это не Валентин был приговорён к смерти 13 февраля. Накануне казни Валентин послал Юлии нежное прощальное письмо. В этом письме он просил оставаться верной христианской вере и вложил желтый крокус. Он подписал послание словами "Твой Валентин". Юлия хотела увидеть цветок и узнать, что написал ее друг. Ее желание было настолько сильным, что оно ей прозреть. Позже, она посадила миндальное дерево на могиле Валентина, как символ искренней и настоящей любви.
В наши дни в честь Святого Валентина влюблённые дарят друг другу валентинки, шоколад, цветы, особенно розы, потому что они символизируют настоящую любовь. Традиционно мужчины делают предложение женщинам. В Великобритании мужчины часто выбирают День святого Валентина для предложения руки и сердца. Но в День святого Валентина в високосный год женщины могут предложить брак своим возлюбленным!
