Поставьте глаголы в правильную форму: Past Simple, Past Continuous, Past Perfect, Past Perfect Continuous. It 1 (be) on Sunday. I 2 (come) home very tired as I 3 (run) since 11 a.m. That's why I 4 (decide) to have some rest and watch TV. I 5 (watch) a cookery program when I 6 (realise) how hungry I 7 (be). No wonder! I 8 (not / eat) anything since breakfast. “Biscuits!” I 9 (think). My mother 10 (give) me a jar of delicious home-made biscuits.
I 11 (go) into the kitchen, 12 (open) the fridge and 13 (pour) some milk in a big glass. Then I 14 (look) for the kitchen chair but it 15 (not / be) there: somebody 16 (take) it away. And there 17 (be) no biscuits in the biscuit jar: somebody 18 (eat) them all! I was sure I 19 (put) the jar there the previous day, and I 20 (eat) only one cookie. It 21 (be) very strange.
A few minutes later, I 22 (drink) my glass of milk when I 23 (hear) a loud noise coming from the dining room. I 24 (go) there quickly and I 25 (open) the door. I 26 (cannot) believe my eyes. An enormous monkey 27 (eat) the biscuits on the kitchen chair. I 28 (remember) that a shapito circus 29 (work) in our town for a week. When I 30 (call) them, they told that they 31 (look) for their monkey for two days.
