The hearing is the most essential sense for the whale because it helps them to navigate under water, to communicate and to find and get food. Unfortunately, they have poor eyesight and no sense of smell at all. The tails are as individual as human fingerprints and that’s impossible to find two identical tails. Only human beings and whales can sing songs of all mammals.
Whales almost eat nothing most of the year and survive on the basis of the stored fat. However, all summer they feed non-stop, eating to three tons of food per day. Their diet mainly consists of algae and small crustaceans, but sometimes these mammals eat small fish. Not a lot of people know that these animals breathe oxygen and can drown while sleeping.
