С ростом компьютерных технологий растет количество «геймеров» - зависимых от компьютеров людей, основная деятельность которых сосредоточена на компьютерных играх. Люди, зависимые от азартных игр, подвергают себя серьезным социальным проблемам, таким как деградация социальных связей личности, отсутствие средств к существованию, криминальное поведение.Механизм формирования игровой зависимости У всех зависимостей механизм формирования одинаков. В их основе лежат различные психологические изменения. Исследования показали, что во время азартных игр в кровь человека в большом количестве поступают эндорфины – гормоны удовольствия, синтезируемые в гипофизе и гипоталамусе. Гормоны побуждают зависимого человека постоянно испытывать тягу к игре, вне зависимости от ее результата. Существует несколько уровней игровой зависимости: Человек включается в игру только из чувства любопытства. Надеется на выигрыш.
