visit family and friends, play and have fun outdoors. In such a way they prepare for
the Lent which lasts forty days before Easter. On Pancake Day people used to
celebrate the last day before Easter. When they could eat what they wanted. Eggs
and milk ought not to be eaten during Lent. All over Belarus people organized
games and competitions. The most common tradition is was to climb up on a
wooden pole. On the top of the pole there were different presents and people tried
to reach them. Also people played snowballs, skate played tug-and-war.
In the future I also want to travel abroad, it’s very exciting and interesting. I want to travel on a ship, in the voyage. I really believe that my future will be amazing
