These animals are usually useless, and people keep them just for their own pleasure. Sometimes people have in their homes more exotic animals – rats, ferrets, and even reptiles and small crocodiles. But, to my mind, it’s not a good idea to keep snakes at home. They will hardly ever see you as friends, and meanwhile they are dangerous. As for me, the only pet I have is a white angora cat Angela. It is very fluffy. I brought it home when it was just two months old. Then it was a small and playful kitten. Now it has turned into a serious five year-old cat, which spends most of the day sleeping on the sofa.
I’d like to tell you about my friend. 2 My friend’s name is Vika. 3 She is of my age. 4 She’s got brown hair. 5 Her eyes are blue. 6 She’s slim and not very tall.
7 We’ve been friends for a couple of years. 8 She’s a very nice person, that’s why I like to spend time with her. 9 We’ve got much in common, so we often have topics to discuss. 10 We can chat about everything: films, music, talk-shows, books, celebrities. 11 We both like to shoot photos. 12 We can spend hours walking around the streets with our cameras and taking pictures of cats, birds, flowers, children, etc. 13 In my opinion, Vika is very talented. 14 She also writes poems and they are really good. 15 I believe that one day she will become famous.
