Awful visit to Sweet Sticks!
It was January 20th of this year. My friends and I decided that we needed to relax after a hard week and went to the small cafe "Sweet Sticks" next to the shopping center. it was 6 in the evening, and strangely enough, there were no people. We quickly ordered what we wanted and began to wait for the order. You know, after 40 minutes of waiting, we realized why we were alone in the cafe. Firstly, they brought us not exactly what we ordered, but also from our dishes it smelled of spoiled food. When my friend Sarah went to the chef's kitchen because there was no one at the registration desk, she immediately returned to our table and said:
“If you had seen that kitchen, it’s very dirty and dusty, I even saw a cockroach!” - Sarah told us.
In any case, we asked for a book of complaints that we were not given immediately, but we still wrote in that dirty book about this terrible institution that we thought was very nice, as we thought. We left with nothing and a bad mood, it was a shame for us to spend a night of fifteen, but Sarah and Fred said that we would have fun anyway, and went to the shopping center to have a good rest!
I am also interested in history because I like to learn about something unusual and new. At different times, people lived differently. Otherwise they thought, believed and even spoke. They did not have our high-rise buildings and equipment, which we now use.
Knowing the past helps you become more familiar with the traditions of different nations. It is interesting to learn about the traditions of ancient countries. For example, the Egyptian Pharaoh never showed his hair and wore a special hat. But the ancient Greeks paid great attention to sacrifice.
I am very attracted to the history of the period of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. I am proud of my ancestors who committed an invaluable act: they were not afraid to go to their goal.
