Dear Lucy,
Thank you for your letter, I'm happy, that you are doing great.
I have something to tell you. Yesterday, I went to the shop with my mum and I saw a man who was trying to rob a bank. There were a lot of people inside and the robber threatened them with a gun. I screamed and my mom called the police, when the officer of the police came, he caught the robber. It was the scariest thing of my entire life.
This summer I going to visit Moscow, can you tell me something about this city? My mum is calling me, so I need to go.
Best wishes
A: Paul, hi, it's me. Listen, are you wanting -> do you want to come out
for a meal this evening?
B: Yes, sure, of course. But aren't you spending your
birthday with Scott?
A: No, he's busy. He's doing something else.
B: What? On your birthday?
A: Yes, he's working late at -> in the office today.
B: He's seeming -> seems to have a lot of work these days.
A: Yes, maybe. But I'm not believing -> don't believe him.
B: What? You're meaning -> mean that he's lying?
A: Well, I'm knowing -> know that he's not telling me the
whole truth.
B: Are you thinking that he's seeing someone else?
A: Maybe. He's behaving a bit strangely at the moment.
B: How terrible! Poor you.
