Text “British Press”
There are two kinds of newspapers in Britain. The first kind is large and has many detailed articles about national and international events. These newspapers are called serious papers or quality papers. The other kind, called the tabloids are smaller in size, have more pictures and shorter articles, often about less important events or about the private lives of well-known people. Though some people disapprove tabloids, they are quite popular. Many people buy tabloids like The Sun which is the biggest-selling newspaper in Britain.
In all parts of the country there are also papers giving information about films, concerts and other things that are happening in the local area. Some local newspapers are free. These contain a lot of advertisements and some news. National serious newspapers like The Times or The Daily Telegraph generally give information about events happening in London. Most national newspapers express a political opinion.
Daily newspapers are published on every day of the week except Sunday. However Sunday newspapers are larger than daily ones. They often have 2 or 3 sections. All Sunday newspapers are national.

Объяснение:
You rarely see a man on earth who has not heard anything about England. Every self-respecting tourist should visit this state in order to fall in love with its rich history and imbue it with traditions. Today you have the opportunity to learn about rare facts in England. 1. In Britain, pigs are not castrated, so it’s better not to buy pork or order it in restaurants, but if you smell and taste of boar urine in the meat is normal, then you can. The British are very fond of bacon for breakfast, and in the mornings a specific stink spreads from the edalen. Once I tried to talk with supermarket managers, I thought maybe there is some kind of identification system on the packages, but they did not even understand what I was talking about and why to castrate pigs. But there is a lot of halal meat, it surprises me that none of the green and other eco animal lovers almost protests against it, because the slaughter of animals according to Muslim traditions is very cruel.2. In England, there is almost no national cuisine, or rather, it seems to be there, but it is quite primitive and frankly tasteless. Probably the worst in Europe. I’ll write about English cuisine
3. England has the highest obesity rate in Europe
4. The British really drink a lot of tea, a cup of tea is such a ritual in the culture of communication, and a panacea for all ills. It’s a paradox, but good loose tea in large supermarkets is a rarity, you need to order in special stores. Everyone drinks packaged.
5. A school uniform is required for all students. In most state. It is the same school, but private schools adhere to different6. Public school is actually a private school, and free is a state school. Students name all students, both schoolchildren and university students. The word pupil in the meaning of "student" is practically not used. The word school can also mean a university, such as law school or medical school
