"Russian State Academic Drama Theatre named after Fyodor Volkov" - Russia's first theater, which in 2010 celebrated its 260th anniversary.History Volkovskoye theater began with leather barn in which two and a half centuries ago, a young merchant's son Fyodor Volkov with his brothers and friends began to organize vYaroslavle theater. The first of these was held July 10, 1750 in the leather barn stepfather Fedor merchant Polushkina - it was "Esther" by Jean Racine, translated by Fyodor Volkov.
