The New Year is the best day of the year for everyone. Since 1700 year by the Petr's 1st law, Russian people got a holiday as a national. This day people usually make a big family dinner. With lots of delicious food and friendly conversations. The New Year traditions may be different in different countries. It depends. But the very important part wating for the midnight is In common. In Russia million people start shouting and wishing a happy New Year to everyone right after the last chimes bell blows. We have an old tradition for that special moment. People believe that u have to write your best sincere dream on a small piece of paper and burn it.
