5 Change active verbs to the passive form where possible in the passage below, and rewrite the passage in the lines provided. Some verbs may need to be changed to a synonymous
verb which can be used passively.
Two to four players play the gamel First deal seven cards to each player. The player to the left of
the dealer starts the game. They lay down their highest card. Players in turn lay down a card,
following suit The player who places the highest card wins the round and collects the pile of
cards. If they don't have a card in the same suit, they don't play in that round. Players replace
their used cards from the central pile. When the first player is out, because they have no more
cards, the players count the number of piles each player has collected.
