My name is Liza. I’m thirteen years old. I study in the 8th form of the secondary school. We have many interesting subjects at school, but my favourite is English. I’ve been studying English from my first school year and I have always liked this subject. We have a great teacher of English. She is always happy to see us and is ready to help us when we don’t understand the new topic. During the lessons we read and translate, we learn poems, we write short essays, we have discussions, and the best part is when we play some speaking games. Our teacher says that my English is really good and I need to develop my knowledge if I continue studying English in the future. My dream is to become a professional interpreter. I know that it’s going to be difficult to succeed in this field, as I need to learn a great number of words by heart, but I will try to. Another subject that I like is geography. I think it’s great to learn about new countries and continents. I’m sure that I will need the knowledge of this subject in the future. I have a dream to travel around the world after I finish the studies. I also enjoy the workshops where we learn cooking and sewing. There are some subjects which I don’t like at all, but I try to understand them. They are Chemistry and Physics. I’m lucky to be sitting next to the smartest boy in our class. So he often helps me out and explains the things I don’t understand.

The native inhabitants of this places Indians- Paiute called this natural wonder Kaibab, which means the mountain that has been put upside down.The Grand Canyon is not the deepest Canyon in the world nor the widest; however, it is known for its visually overwhelming size and its intricate and colorful landscape.Cosmonauts flying over the Great Canyon can distinguish it without any difficulties.It’s interesting that there are different kinds of plants and animals on opposite sides of the Canyon.The south side is dry and desert country. The north side has tall forests.The Canyon looks different at different times of day, and in different seasons and weather.At sunrise and sunset the red, gold, brown, and orange colors of the rocks are especially clear and bright.
