Kim was a taxi driver and often hung around Central Station in hope that a rich Arabian tourist would ask him to drive to the Business Center.
One day he caught sight of two confused Japanese holidaymakers looking at a map. One of the Japanese was crying as Kim made them got inside the taxi and laid their luggage at the back. “Surely, you feel happy to visit our city. Have you come here for the first time? Where would you like me to take you?” Kim started driving away without waiting for any answer. He showed the Japanese tourists round the President’s Palace, the Business Center, and the Zoo. All through the way the Japanese went on explaining something to the taxi driver. They kept pointing at the map, red in the face. Outside the shopping center, they were caught in a traffic jam. It happened so that one of the tourists’ countrymen was passing by and heard them shouting out of the taxi window. He let them explain what had happened. Then he offered himself as an interpreter and finally announced that Kim had misunderstood the whole situation as the Japanese only wanted to know where the entrance to the station was.
