Taxi is a 1998 French action-comedy film starring Samy Naceri, written by Luc Besson, and directed by Gérard Pirès.It has three sequels, Taxi 2, Taxi 3, Taxi 4 and one remake, Taxi (2004). The film takes place in Marseille, France, and includes a beginner race car driver named Daniel (Naceri), who initially works as a pizza delivery boy, but changes jobs to become a taxi driver. With supercharged Peugeot 406, he escapes from the police during the transportation tariffs it quickly to their destination. Finally caught by police for violating a great speed, he is forced to help Emilien (Frédéric Diefenthal), a down-on-his-luck police inspector on the trail of German bank robbers. Trying to manipulate the budding relationship with his beautiful girlfriend Lilly (Marion Cotillard) and a need for high-speed chases, Daniel helps Emilien so that he will not lose his license and quite possibly his job. I love this movie! I saw it many times! And never regret it! The plot is very interesting. When I watch this film, the time flies by unnoticed! I do not have time to look back, as the movie titles ... This is the only negative, and a lot of pluses. I think probably everyone watching this movie or have a look. I advise everyone to see this film.
