1) When we cook, we boil, roast, fry or stew our food. We boil eggs, meat, chicken, fish, milk, water and vegetables. We fry eggs, fish and vegetables. We stew fish, meat, vegetables or fruit. We roast meat or chicken. We put salt, sugar, pepper, vinegar and mustard into our food to make it salted, sweet, sour or simply tasty. Our food may taste good or bad or it may be tasteless. The usual meals in England are breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner or, in simpler houses, breakfast, dinner, tea and supper. For breakfast English people mostly have porridge or corn-flakes with milk or cream and sugar, bacon and eggs, marmalade with buttered toast and tea or coffee. For a change they can have a boiled egg, cold ham, or fish. English people generally have lunch about one o'clock. At lunch time in a London restaurant one usually finds a mutton chop, or steak and chips, or cold meat or fish with potatoes and salad, then a pudding or fruit to follow. Afternoon tea can hardly be called a meal. It is a substantial meal only in well-to-do families. It is between five and six o'clock. It is rather a sociable sort of thing, as friends often come in then for a chat while they have their cup of tea, cake or biscuit. In some houses dinner is the biggest meal of the day. But in great many English homes, the midday meal is the chief one of the day, and in the evening there is usually a much simpler supper — an omelette, or sausages, sometimes bacon and eggs and sometimes just bread and cheese, a cup of coffee or cocoa and fruit.

2) I have usually meals four times a day. They are breakfast, lunch at the University (rare), dinner and supper. Dinner is the substantial meal of a day. It consists of 3 courses. We can’t imagine Russian dinner without a plate of soup. The second course is meat and fish with potatoes, macaronis, with vegetable salad, for dessert we eat a glass of juice, compote or tea. High fat food, sweets are bad for our teeth, make us fat. Juice, fruit and vegetables, meat gives my energy, contain a lot of vitamins. In order to stay healthy it’s important to have a balanced diet- in other words, food that contains something from each of the three main groups of food. These groups are protein, fat and carbohydrates. English people have four meals: they are breakfast, lunch, tea, and dinner. In the morning they have breakfast. At 12 o’clock they lunch. Between 16 to 17 they have tea. In the evening they have dinner. Dinner is the most substantial meal of a day. Fish and chips is a popular traditional British dish: fish deep-fried in batter, served with chips. On Christmas they usually eat roast turkey and Christmas pudding. Well-educated people pay a lot of attention to good table manners. They are: 1. You should sit up straight. 2. You shouldn’t eat with your fingers. 3. You shouldn’t put your elbows on the table. 4. You shouldn’t put your dirty knife, spoon and fork on your plate. 5. You shouldn’t talk with your mouth full. 6. You shouldn’t lick your fingers. 7. If you are very hungry, you shouldn’t rush to your food. 8. You shouldn’t put more than one piece o bread or cake on your plate. 9. You should say “Thank you” after the meal. I want my food would be well prepared taste, full of protein, vitamins, minerals and I am against drinking alcohol, smoking and taking drugs. I am for health habits.

My favourite film is "Alone at Home" It is the famed family Christmas comedy from director Chris Columbus about the adventures of eight-year-old Kevin, whom parents forgot at home on Christmas Day. The film "Alone at home" is the record holder for the box office in the genre of comedy. In the title role is Macaulay Culkin starred. In my opinion it is one of the most interesting comedies. The film is very kind and funny. I always feel sorry for Kevin at the very beginning of the film, when the whole family scolds him for his childish pranks. And I wonder how such a small boy was not afraid being at home absolutely alone, and at the same time what intricate tricks he invented for robbers! It's really fascinating. You can watch this film a thousand times and still you won't get bored.

Мой любимый фильм «Один дома». Это знаменитая семейная рождественская комедия режиссера Криса Коламбуса о приключениях восьмилетнего Кевина, которого родители забыли дома в Рождество. Фильм «Один дома» является рекордсменом по кассовым сборам в жанре комедии. В главной роли выступает Маколей Калкин.
По-моему, это одна из самых интересных комедий. Фильм очень добрый и веселый. Мне всегда жаль Кевина в самом начале фильма, когда вся семья ругает его за его детские шалости. И мне интересно, как такой маленький мальчик не боялся быть дома абсолютно один, и в то же время какие замысловатые трюки он изобретал для грабителей!
Это действительно захватывающе. Вы можете смотреть этот фильм тысячу раз, и вам все равно не будет скучно.
