Mark is a salesman. Every day he calls people up and offers them to buy his company's products. He is really good at it, too. He always talks about how much he loves his job.
When people hear this they are usually very surprised. " Are you serious?" they ask. "Most people
like to sell stuff! This guy hates to do it, and that guy doesn't like it… How do you do it?
To that Mark generally replies, "How do i do it? Well, it isn't always like this. In the past I worked very hard but I didn't get any sales. So i didn't like my job at all. Then I
learned about how to sell, and (
practiced a lot. I practiced so much that it became easy for me. I started to make more and more sales. My boss loved it and he increased my salary. Now I am very good at it, and I have a lot of fun. I help people buy the stuff they need. "Will you work as a salesman forever?" people ask him.
"I don't know," Mark replies. He thinks that he has to wait and see. "Maybe I will continue to work as a salesman," he says "And maybe I will change my profession. It depends on what I will prefer. But for now, I am happy!"
