What Will Happen In 50 Years Time?
Many people wonder what life will be like in 50 years time. No one can know for sure, but there are certain forecasts about world demographics, weather conditions, technology development, spaceflights, etc. In my opinion, it’s going to be the era of various machines, the so-called robots. They will be everywhere around. It will include self-operated vehicles, home-based robots, automatic workers, computer-based education and many other modern facilities. At the moment many countries spend millions to explore other planets and to make sure they contain appropriate living conditions. So, perhaps, in 50 years time people will be able to visit other planets in spaceships. It will become a popular type of tourism. Moreover, people will be able to purchase lands and build houses on some planets. Today it might sound as an absurd, but who knows how the things will change in the future. Speaking about different modes of transport, I’m sure we’ll have lots self-operated vehicles which can move around without a pilot or a driver. As a result many people will stay unemployed. The same can happen to office workers. It is becoming more and more popular to replace humans with robots. Robots are the machines, which are programmed to do certain jobs. So, the employers would prefer to purchase one robot, instead of hiring several people. On top of that, I think that surrounding nature will suffer greatly from technological progress. For that reason, people would prefer to stay day and night in their mighty skyscrapers, instead of taking long walks in the parks. All these forecasts are approximate, so it’s better to wait and see.

Многие люди задаются вопросом, какой будет жизнь через 50 лет. Никто не может знать наверняка, но есть определенные прогнозы о мировой демографии, погодных условиях, развитии технологий, полетах в космос и т.д. На мой взгляд, это будет эпоха различных машин, так называемых роботов. Они будут повсюду вокруг нас. К ним относятся самоуправляемые транспортные средства, домашние роботы, автоматизированные работники, запрограммированное компьютером образование и многие другие современные возможности. На данный момент многие страны тратят миллионы, чтобы исследовать другие планеты и чтобы убедиться, что на них есть соответствующие условия для жизни. Так что, возможно, через 50 лет люди будут иметь возможность летать на другие планеты в космических кораблях. Это станет популярным видом туризма. Кроме того, люди смогут приобретать там земли и строить дома на некоторых планетах. Сегодня это может показаться абсурдом, но кто знает, как все изменится в будущем. Говоря о различных видах транспорта, я уверен, что у нас будут самоуправляемые транспортные средства, которые смогут передвигаться без пилота или водителя. В результате многие люди останутся без работы. То же самое произойдет с офисными работниками. Становится все более и более популярным заменять людей роботами. Роботы - это машины, которые запрограммированы для выполнения определенных задач. Таким образом, работодатели предпочту купить одного робота, вместо того, чтобы нанимать несколько человек. Помимо этого, я думаю, что окружающая природа сильно пострадает от технического прогресса. По этой причине, люди предпочтут проводить дни и ночи в своих могучих небоскребах, вместо того, чтобы прогуляться по парку. Все эти прогнозы не достоверны, так что лучше ждать и наблюдать.
Birthday is a very wonderful day. Everybody likes to celebrate it. It is a good opportunity to spend time with friends, parents, relatives.
I was born on the 7th of March. In the morning on my birthday my parents lay the presents near my bed. So the first thing I see when I open my eyes is my presents. My Mom and Daddy and my little brother come to my room to congratulate me and to sing "Happy Birthday".
My mother bakes a cake or pie. By the evening food is cooked, the table is laid. We put on evening suits and dresses and wait for the guests. The flat looks nice and cosy. I am always very glad to meet my guests. I like to get flowers and presents. Mom gives me the telegram from my aunt.
We have an abundant dinner on this day. Mom brings in the birthday cake. I blow the candles out. We dance and sing songs, play games and laugh, joke, tell funny stories. I think that my birthday is one of the best days in a year.
