My sister has got a separate apartment not far from the center of the city. The apartment is not very large, but itis very comfortable. There are two rooms, a kitchen, a hall and a bathroom in my sister's flat. There are all modern conveniences in it. There is a gas stove, a refrigerator, a table, a few stools, a cupboard and some shelves for dishes in the kitchen. The kitchen is very clean and comfortable. It is a dining room too. Washing dishes doesn't take much my sister's time because there is running hot water in the kitchen. There is a wardrobe and a small table for phone in the hall. At the door there is a small rug. One of the rooms is the living room, the second room is the bedroom. There is a round table, six chairs, a sideboard, a table with a TV-set on it, two armchairs and a takhtain in the living room. Over the takhtain there are a few bookshelves. There is a bed, a dressing table, a wardrobe and a small dressing table in the bedroom. There is a large thick carpet on the floor. Me sister is very happy to have such good apartment.
My family is not large. I have got mother, father and grandmother. There are four of us in the family. First of all some words about my parents. My mother is a teacher of biology. She works in a school. She likes her profession. She is a good-looking woman with brown hair. She is 44 but she looks much younger. My father is programmer. He is forty-six. My father often sings and when we are at home and have some free time I play guitar and we sing together. He is also handy with many things. When he was small he liked to take everything to pieces. My grandmother told me a story that once my father tried to repair their kitchen clock but without success. They had to give it to a repairman. But it happened a long time ago. Now he can fix almost everything. My parents have been married for 18 years. They have much in common, but they have different views on music, books, and films. For example my father likes horror films and my mother likes soap operas. My father is fond of tennis. My mother doesn’t go in for sports. My parents are hard working people. My mother keeps house and takes care of my father and me. She is very good at cooking. My grandmother is a pensioner. She lives with us and helps to run the house. She is fond of knitting. I want to become a student. I’d like to learn foreign languages. I always try to be in a good mood.
