Gavin knocked on the front door of the cottage, but Mrs Foster didp't open it at once, like she usually did.
"Gran! Are you there?" No one answered.
Gavin waited for a moment. He couldn't hear - sound. "Maybe she can't hear me," he thought.
He tried the door. It wasn't locked so he opened it and went inside. The room was empty.
"Gran! Where are you? It's me, Gavin." No one was there, not even Tinker, the cat. Gavin looked round the warm, cosy little room. The fire was still burning brightly. The table was set for two people and he could smell a delicious smell coming from the tiny kitchen.
He thought: "Where is she? And where's Tinker?"
He ran upstairs and looked quickly into the two tiny bedrooms.
- Are you there, Gran?
Nobody answered.

Anything that she says is bound to Bе rubbish. What they told us about came as a surprise to us all. Everything that they had promised to me was done. I was amazed by the things what we saw in thе Ascania-Nova Nature Reserve. Everything what I found there was amazing. The research centre where different species of plants and animals are studied is not far from here. Is this the place where we're supposed to have a discussion about? Do you know the namе of the animal which we saw there? This is the place where archeological finds started. It's the city in which the worst environmental problems in the country exist.

ответ:My parents are very hardworking people. They have been working since I was a child. I spent my childhood in the country with my grandparents. That happened because my mom and dad wanted to give me the best future and I think they succeed.

My mom is a teacher at school. I know that she likes her job and does it very well. Children respect her and other parents ask her for advice. Of course she spends a lot of time at work and she is busy all the time but I am really proud of her.

She is a teacher of Russian language and literature. She read many books and can give a good advice. We have a huge library at home and I like to read these books sometime. She can always help me with homework but actually she is a strict teacher. Because she is very hardworking person she wants to see her pupils the same way.

Many times I thought that the best profession for my mom is to be a psychologist. She can listen and help only with one conversation.

My dad is a bank worker. Honestly I don’t know the actual name of his profession. But his working day can last 12-14 hours. His job is very responsible and difficult I think. You have to be concentrated all the time about money and count. I go to his bank from time to time and we have lunch together.

Even if he is at home he receives many calls. As you can see he continues to work even at home.

I am very thankful to my parents for everything they are doing for me. I am not sure if I am going to follow my parents’ steps, because their jobs look to me to much difficult.
