I think that animals have the right to existence in any case, even when they are ownerless. They are the same living creatures as we are.
They are deeply hurt by people's indifference and violence. They must be helped. There are animals that tend to be agressive, but they need our help: they shouldn't be killed but caught and treated instead. It grieves me to see them sufferring, running about in search for at least a tiny piece of food which can help them to survive. There are people who always try to feed stray animals but they can't take them home. Many people think that homeless animals must not live, that they must be killed one in all. Such an opinion is accounted for by the danger of being bitten by a dog that is sufferring from rabies. There are a lot of accidents when stray animals are run over by a car. Taken to a refuge, homeless animals will be washed, fed and treated there and it may result in finding new masters.
And in general these are the people who are to blame for everything. They buy animals but as soon as they get either bored with them or tired of them they throw their pets out . Every living creature wants sincere affection and care. Animals domesticated by us should be part of our life, because we are responsible for them.
