i want to talk about my grandfather and grandmother. more precisely, how they came together, because the birthplace of my mother’s parents differed in 3,500 kilometers.
my grandfather was born in 1943, in a concentration camp, in germany. after the liberation of the red army, grandfather came to his homeland, where he learned and decided to go to kazakhstan. it was there that he met a beautiful woman with whom he began an affair, as a result of which they got married and left for their grandmother’s homeland, where they lived happily ever after, gave birth to two children, one of which is my mother.
now they also happily live together in the village, and for the winter they leave for the city. there are no legends in our family.
