У тебя в скобочках написаны прилагательные, вот предложения с тем же смыслом, но с использованием наречий, образованных от данных слов. Я так поняла, задание было именно такое.

I am writing to you because I hope that you will help me. If you answer my letter as soon as you can, I shall be grateful to you.

A strange thing happened to me yesterday. You of course know my friend George. He has moved to a new flat recently.We met in 1987 and have been friends ever since.I was invited to his housewarming party a few days ago. The thing is that when I was speaking to him on the phone, the doorbell rang. I hung up and when I returned the paper with his address on it had disappeared. So I don't know where he lives. Maybe you can help me.

It was a beautiful day although there were a few clouds in the sky. We went for a walk by the sea and then decided to visit the Johnsons who live next to _ Lake Erewash. As we had left the car by the hotel we were staying at we went there by train. We had _ dinner at their place and had a very enjoyable time.
