Famous Yalta faces the Black Sea on the Southern Coast of the Crimean Peninsula. Settlement on this site dates from prehistoric times, but modern Yalta developed only in the early 19th century, becoming a town in 1838. Its favourable climate with mild winters and its scenic location between sea and mountains make Yalta one of the most popular holiday resorts of Ukraine.
The Crimea awakens the artist in a man. For example, a unique open-air museum has been established in Yalta where works by both professional and amateur artists are exhibited. Of course works are inspired by the fabulous beauty of surrounding areas. The museum is called the "Fairy-Tale Glade". As it should be in a fairy-tale, old stumps and snags, golden straw and rough granite boulders are all here together creating a special world.
It has probably always been so: the Crimea has enthralled our ancestors as well, stirring their sense of the beautiful and perfect. It's enough to take a good look at lines of walls and towers in the Sudak Fortress. You can also try to reconstruct in your imagination Chersonesus ...If stones could speak...
We could learn a lot of interesting stories from the fountain in the Livadia Palace and from the famous Alupka lions. And the cliff where the Swallow's Nest perches surely remembers how already in our time workers hanging at a dizzying height over the sea reinforced the cleft rock and the castle's foundations, thereby saving it from destruction. The breath-taking serpentine course of mountain roads and the tracery of the Alupka Palace, the fragrant roses in the Nikitsky Botanical Garden with their unique shades and fantastic shapes, the scarlet flashes of sunset, the everchanging choppy sea and primeval silence of the steppe, the incessant sounds of water-falls and high-rise buildings along the Southern Coast — nobody could claim to have become accustomed to this wonderful land full of life and surprises.

Знаменита Ялта спускається до Чорного моря з Південного берега Кримського півострова. Поселення на цьому місці існувало ще в доісторичні часи, але сучасний свій вигляд Ялта набула тільки на початку XIX ст., ставши містом у 1838 р. Сприятливий клімат цього міста з помірними зимами і його розташування в мальовничому місці між морем і горами роблять Ялту одним з найбільш популярних місць відпочинку на Україні.
Крим збуджує в людині художника. Наприклад, у Ялті відкритий унікальний музей на відкритому повітрі, де виставлені роботи професійних майстрів і аматорів. Звичайно ж, творців цих робіт надихнула казкова краса місцевих пейзажів. Музей називається «Галявина казок». Як у казці, старі пні і корчі, золотава солома і великі гранітні валуни в ансамблі створюють особливий світ.
Напевно, так було завжди: Крим приваблював наших предків, пробуджуючи в них почуття прекрасного. Достатньо уважно подивитися на лінії стін і веж Фортеці Судака. Можете спробувати думкою намалювати собі Херсонес ...Якби камені могли говорити... Фонтан у палаці Лівадії або знамениті алупські леви могли б розповісти нам безліч цікавих історій. І скеля, на якій розташувалося Ластівчине Гніздо, напевно пам'ятає, як уже в наші дні робітники, які зависли на карколомній висоті над морем, зміцнювали тріснуті камені і фундамент замка, у такий б рятуючи його від руйнування. Надзвичайно закручений серпантин гірських доріг і ажурні візерунки Алупського Палацу, духмяні троянди Нікітського Ботанічного Саду унікальних відтінків і фантастичних форм, червоні відблиски заходу, море, яке постійно змінюється, і споконвічна тиша степу, безперервний шум водоспадів і висотні будинки уздовж Південного узбережжя — ця прекрасна земля, жива і сповнена сюрпризів, ніколи не перестає дивувати
