Most people dream of having certain things in their life, but possessions are not as important as life aims. It is simply vital for each person to have aims and to live trying to fulfill them. At first, they might seem impossible, but if we genuinely want something, it usually comes true. Aims can be different. Some people connect them with professional growth and career, others want to have a large family with many children in it. There are some that want to become famous or to stand out from the crowd. All these aims are worth considering. As a child I dreamt of having a bicycle and my parents bought it for me for good behavior and excellent marks at school. Our goals change and mature as we become older. However, we should remember if we really want something to become true, we should make every effort to achieve it. Nothing comes easy
Education in Russia Education is an important part of modern life. Being educated means to know a lot of necessary and useful things for life, which is why every decent person studies at school. Originally Russian education starts from the early age. Children can start going to kindergarten from the age of two, but this is not a compulsory education. It depends on parents’ decision and child’s wish to attend this institution. However, school is mandatory. Every child starts going to school from the age of seven and till 16. Mandatory education in Russia is presented by three types of schools: primary, secondary and high. The primary school teaches its pupils elementary skills, such as reading, writing, counting. Many schools also offer foreign languages or some other special disciplines at this age. The most important period is the secondary school, which starts from the 4th or 5th grade, depending on school. This is the time when children start learning Biology, Geography, Chemistry, Physics, Computing, and many other new subjects. At the 9th grade children face a very important period in their life. They have to choose whether to continue school education, or to leave for other types of educational institutions, such as college, specialized schools and else. If the pupil decides to continue studying in high school, which lasts for two years, he can enter the university after school graduation. Of course, it’s only the general pattern of education in Russia, but there can also be some exceptions nowadays. For example, there are lots of special schools, where they pay attention only to particular subjects. Also, apart from state schools, there are a number of private schools, where education is not free of charge.
First of all I want to tell you that my best friend's name is Masha and she is 15. She is the best person I have ever met. A few words about her appearance. Her height is nearly 149 cm. But she'd like to be a bit taller. Well, she is not slim but she is not fat either. Masha has a round face as everyone has, a bit long nose and big cheerful grey eyes. Her skin is a bit pale but she likes this fact, she doesn't like ruddy faces. Her forehead is open. I think Masha has a charming smile. Her hair isn't very short but it's not long either. It is straight and black. Masha has rich hair. I think that she looks like her father.Masha is very active and creative, cheerful and curious. But the best thing is that she is reliable. We spend much time together. We go for a walk, we play tennis, watch TV, do things which we like. I love my friend.
