The distinctive feature of Alyosha, from other heroes, is that he is resourceful and cunning, although he is inferior to Dobryna and Ilya. Like some heroes from the Marvel universe, he is characterized by inconsistency and ambivalence.
From the very childhood Alyosha was not an ordinary child. He asked to be swaddled in chain mail and from an early age asks his mother for a blessing to walk around the "white world". When his wanderings begin, he finds that he can easily handle a horse and is proficient with a spear and a saber, although he has never even held a weapon in his hands before.
Thus, Alyosha Popovich could have become a superhero from Marvel or DC comics, if he had added a little more entourage and pathos, but Russian heroes are different and I believe that this is a worthy opponent to the West.

С самого детства Алеша был не простым ребенком. Он просил пеленать его кольчугою и с раннего возраста просит у матери благословения погулять по "белу свету". Когда его странствия начинаются, то он обнаруживает, что может с легкостью справляться с конем и мастерски владеет копьем и саблей, хотя до этого никогда даже в руках не держал оружие.
Таким образом Алеша Попович вполне бы мог стать супергероем из комиксов Марвел или DC, если бы ему еще добавили немного антуража и пафоса, но русские герои другие и я считаю, что это достойный оппонент Западу.
