My attention in the novel was drawn to Athos.His real name is the Comte de la Fere. He is laconic,strict and sometimes cruel. Grimaud become a servant to the owner. Athos older than his friends and much wealthier. Nevertheless , he musketeer. He fights; often on the verge of death. He loves the risk that he lacked in secular life.But that's not all.We know that Athos was married.And it was uneven and not a happy marriage. In his wife he took the thief , unwittingly. Punishment was cruel. But he loved this woman.Athos is wise and fair.Everybody ask him for advice
