At the 6th form stage, pupils are highly specialized in three or four subjects and take A level exams. Good A level results in at least 3 subjects are necessary to get a place at a university or Art and Music College to get higher education. But he hopes to get a place at a university.

В возрасте 16 лет мы пишем экзамен, который называется GSCE (Главная Аттестационная Работы Среденего Образования). Мы обычно готовим от 8 до 12 GSCE предметов во время 10 и 11 года обучения;и тогда мы выбираем предметы и пишем по ним экзамены. После 11 года обучения мы решаем, что делать дальше. Есть разные возможности. Несколько моих друзей решили пойти в колледж для дальнейшего образования, которое готовит студентов к работе, а я иду обучаться по sixth form(это словосочетание не переводится). Большинство средних школ имеют департаменты sixth form, но в моей школе этого департамента нет. Поэтому я иду в специальный колледж sixth form. Мне нравится это потому что в колледже совершенно другая атмосфера и ученики кажутся взрослее. На стадии 6th form ученики специализируются по трем-четырем предметам и сдают экзамены А уровня. Хорошие результаты этого экзамена в 3 предметах обязательны для вступления в университет Художества и Музыки для получения высшего образования. Но не все ученики получают высшее образование после 6th form. Если ты провалишь экзамены А уровня, ты можешь идти в колледж для дальнейшего образования или искать работу. Но я надеюсь получить место в университете.
