Karate is my favorite sport
My favourite sport is karate, which is one of the Oriental martial arts. Karate is a popular sport in the world because it improves self-confidence and self-discipline, memory and attention. Besides, karate teaches us self-defence, respect, self-control and patience.
I started practising karate when I was eight. Since that time I have been training twice a week in our local sports centre. The lessons are physically hard but I enjoy them. Our sensei teaches us patiently and inspires us to become better people. I have already participated in a few competitions.
I am glad that I chose karate because it gives me so much: I have become more patient and physically stronger.
The Internet has become a part of our lives. It helps us to communicate with friends, meet new people, learn, listen to your favourite music and watch films. The opportunities of the Global network are increasing every year. But, as it turns out, the Internet can bring not only benefits but also harm.
So mind some rules when you work on the computer:
1) Save your eyes! Make intervals every 15-40 minutes for your eyes to have a good rest!
2) If you go to a social network or e-mail from someone else's computer, do not forget to log out.
3). To protect your computer, you must regularly update the software, use a reliable antivirus and anti spy programmes.
4). On the Internet, it is not necessary to follow links and click on the button in the pop-up messages that appear to be suspicious. Even if you are assured, that there is something very important to you personally.
5). In order to protect the personal information come up with a strong password and do not share it to anyone. For each resource use unique logins and passwords.
6). Never provide sensitive information such as an account number or password in response to an e-mail or social networks.
7). Before you enter sensitive information into a web form, or on a web page, look for the presence of such features as the web page address that starts with http and the icon of a closed padlock next to the address bar that indicates a secure connection.
8). For the safety of social networking leave as little information about yourself and a selective approach to proposals of friendship.
9). Do not send confidential information (Bank card number, PIN code, passport data) via social media messengers. Letters with scans of documents should be removed immediately after sending or receiving, do not store them in the mail.
10). Do not access online banks and other important services via open Wi-Fi networks in cafes or in the street. Use the mobile Internet. Connect in your Bank SMS-information about all transactions on cards and accounts. So you can quickly notice if your card is compromised, and block it.
