Dear Cindy,
Thank you for your letter. I haven't written for a long time because I have been busy at school.
In your letter you write that you'd like to go to Izmaylovo Market. I have been there only once, and it was awesome! As far as I remember, there are lots of different goods, ranging from leather goods and Dymkovo toys to carpets. The most beautiful things are those made of birch bark and wood, so I suggest you buy a birch bark casket and a matryoshka, a symbol of Russian culture. Unfortunately, I didn't attend other events because I had little time, but you can go to the art park, the Museum of Bread and the Museum of the History of the Russian Fleet - these places are very interesting.
It was great to hear about your sister's trip. How long did she spend in Scandinavia? What places did she visit? How long did it take her to get home?
Well, I have to go now, my friend's asked me to help.
Best wishes,
Alina
I wish you... (would have given) him my phone number at that party.
I wish it ... (had stopped) raining.
I wish I ( could speak) several languages.
