Julia: Hello, Kevin. I haven't seen you for ages. How are you?
Kevin: I'm fine. How about you? You look well.
Julia: Yes, I'm very well thanks. So, are you going somewhere or are you meeting somebody off a train?
Kevin: I'm going to London for a business meeting.
Julia: Oh, do you often go away on business?
Kevin: Quite often, yes. And you? Where are you going?
Julia: Nowhere. I'm meeting a friend. Unfortunately, her train is delayed - I have been waiting here for nearly half an hour.
Kevin: How are the children?
Julia: They're all fine, thanks. The youngest has just started school.
Kevin: How is she getting on? Does she like it?
Julia: Yes, she thinks it's great.
Kevin: Are you working at the moment? When I last spoke to you, you were working in a travel agency.
Julia: That's right. Unfortunately, the firm went out of business a couple of months after I started work there, so I lost my job.
Kevin: And haven't you had a job since then?
Julia: Not a permanent job. I have had a few temporary jobs. By the way, have you seen Joe recently?
Kevin: Joe? He's in Canada.
Julia: Really? How long has he been in Canada?
Kevin: About a year now. I had seen him a few days before he went. He had been unemployed for months, so he decided to try his luck somewhere else. He was really looking forward to going.
Julia: So, what is he doing there?
Kevin: I've no idea. I haven't heard from him since he left. Anyway, I must go and catch my train. It was really nice to see you again.
Julia: You too. Bye. Have a good journey.
Kevin: Thanks. Bye.
