Что такое форма Past Simple?Вообще, глаголы в английском языке имеют такие формы: инфинитив ('root': to think, to shake, to boil, to do), форма в времени (e.g. thought, shook, boiled, did) и форма Past Participle (thought, shaken, boiled, done).
Если с инфинитивом всё понятно, то глаголы в Past Simple и Past Participle делятся на правильные (regular verbs) и неправильные (irregular verbs).
Чтобы поставить правильный глагол в время, нужно добавить окончание -ed: boiled, cooked, lived, loved.
Чтобы поставить неправильный глагол в время, пользуются таблицей неправильных глаголов (см. фото; разумеется, это не все неправильные глаголы, а самые часто используемые, другие Вы можете найти). Но всё равно, рано или поздно, их нужно запомнить.

early life
akhmatova was born in bolshoy fontan near odessa. her childhood does not appear to have been happy; her parents separated in 1905. she was educated in kiev, tsarskoe selo, and the smolny institute of st petersburg. anna started writing poetry at the age of 11, inspired by her favourite poets: racine, pushkin, and baratynsky. as her father did not want to see any verses printed under his "respectable" name, she had to adopt the surname of one of her tatar ancestors as a pseudonym.
