My hobby  Hobby is what a person likes to do in his spare time. Hobbies differ like tastes. If you have chosen a hobby according to your character and taste you are lucky because your life becomes more interesting. The most popular hobby is doing things. It includes a wide variety of activities from gardening to traveling, from chess to volleyball. Both grown-ups and children are fond of playing different computer games. This hobby is becoming more and more popular. Making things include drawing, painting, handicrafts. Many people collect something - coins, stamps, compact discs, toys, books. Some collections have some value. Rich people often collect paintings, rare things and other art objects. Often such private collections are given to museums, libraries.  As for me, I like to listen to music. 3 months ago my parents bought me a compact disc player and I decided to collect compact discs. I like different music, it should be good. I collect discs of my favourite groups and singers. I carefully study the information printed on discbooklets. I try to find everything about my favourite singers. Also I like to watch music programmes on TV. I want to keep up with the news in the world of music.  Of course, I like to spend my spare time with my friends. We talk about all sorts of things ( politics, teachers, girls). We discuss films, books, TV programmes. In fine weather we like to be in the open air. We find a nice place somewhere in the forest. We make a fire, bake potatoes and have a lot of fun. When the weather is bad, my friends come to my place. We have a good time together.

Музыка - это мое все. Я думаю, что это - одна из самых важных вещей в моей жизни. Вы знаете - человек не может жить без музыки так же, как цветок без солнца.

Не каждый может найти что-то прекрасное в вещах, которые кажутся странными, ужасными и уродливым в некотором смысле. Мой любимый вид музыки тяжелый металл, но не все могут ее слушать. Но для меня это лучшая музыка.

Несколько лет назад, примерно три или четыре, моей любимой музыкой была рэп. Я любил слушать его и быть рэппером - широкие джинсы, длинные футболки и блестящие цепи, ну, вы представляете. Но потом я начал чувствовать себя довольно скучно от него - мне просто нужно было что-то действительно свежее.

И в один прекрасный день я нашел очень интересную песню во время поисков в Интернете. Название этой песни было "Hit The Lights" групп Metallica.

Это было началом моего пути в мире металла! Я был действительно впечатлен - "Hit The Lights" звучало в уме, и мне это очень понравилось. Вскоре я слушал некоторые другие песни Metallica - некоторые более старые, от 80-и я понял, что металл - только та музыка, которую я хотел слушать, и я отказался от рэпа. Честно говоря, сейчас я думаю, что я выглядел довольно глупо, когда я был рэппер. Но все изменилось.

В первый раз это было действительно трудно для меня понять тексты новых песен - я просто слушал ее как источник энергии. Но потом я начал искать тексты песен в Сети ... и знаете что? Я понял, что некоторые песни  росто сумасшедшие и энергичные, умные и даже философские изыски. Я был в шоке! Я узнал, что почти у каждой группы есть их специальное идеи и темы песен, например, "Slayer" рассказал всем о войнах, "Темнота" -о нашем мире," Megadeth " объясняет,  что  довольно трудно быть человеком на нашей Земле , а не просто человеком-зверем. Другая вещь - с "металлических песен" я улучшил мое знание английского языка - я нашел много новых слов и фраз. И теперь я вижу, что это действительно полезно!

Со всеми видами металла я собираю много интересных вещей, о чем подумать каждый день. И я становлюсь намного добрее - что-то вроде «Г-н хороший парень", да ...

Вы знаете, музыка - это международный язык, как и английский. "Подобно тому, как Иисус сотворил вино из воды, мы, люди на превращения эмоции в музыку", сказал один мудрый человек. Я думаю, что если все мы будем ближе к музыке, наш мир был бы прекрасным местом для жизни. И так оно и будет, я уверен.Music is my everything. I think that it is one of the most important things in my life. You know - a man can`t live without music - just like a flower without sun.

Not everybody can find something beautiful in things which seem to be weird, awful and ugly in some ways. My favorite kind of music is hevy metal, and not everybody can listen to it. But for me it is the best music.

Some years ago, just about three or four, my favourite music was rap. I enjoyed listening to it and being a rapper - wide jeans, long t-shirts and shiny chains, you know. But then I started to feel rather boringabout it - I just needed something really fresh.

And one day I found a very interesting song while surfing the Internet. The name of this song was "Hit The Lights" and the band who had played it was Metallica.

That was the beginning of my way in the metal world! I was really impressed - "Hit The Lights" sounded crazy and I liked it very much. Soon I listened to some other songs of Metallica - some oldy ones from the 80th and I understood that metal music was the only music I wanted to listen to and I gave up rap. To tell the truth, now I think that I looked rather silly when I was a rapper. But the things had changed.

For the first time it was really difficult for me to understand the texts of the new songs - I just listened it for energy. But then I started to search for the texts of songs in the Web... and guess what? I understood that some songs weren`t just crazy and energetic, but clever and even phylosophical. Y was shocked! I recognizedthat almost every band had their special ideas and themes of their songs, for example, "Slayer" told everybody about wars and it`s darkness in our world, "Megadeth" explained that it is rather hard to be a human on our Earth, not a human-like beast. The other thing - with the help of metal songs I improved my knowledge of English - I found a lot of new words and phrases. And now I see that they are really useful!

With all kinds of metal I gather a lot of interesting things to think about every day. And I am getting much kinder - something like a "Mr. Nice Guy", huh...

You know - music is an international language, just like English. "Just as Jesus created wine from water, we humans are capable on transmuting emotions into music" said one man of wisdom. I think that if all of us will get closer to music, our world would be a lovely place to live in. And it will be so, I am sure.
